PSK- Professional Scrum with Kanban
The Professional ScrumTM with Kanban level I (PSK I) assessment is available to anyone who wishes to validate their knowledge of the how Scrum Teams can use Scrum with Kanban ability to support value creation and delivery.
If you feel you already possess a high level of knowledge about Professional Scrum with Kanban, you have the option to take the PSK I assessment directly. The PSK I assessment is grounded in the Professional Scrum with Kanban subject areas: Kanban Practices, Agile Metrics, and The Scrum Framework.
Over the 2 days, students will see why PSM is the cutting-edge course for effective Scrum Masters and for anyone coaching a team toward increased efficiency and effectiveness. The course includes advanced thinking for servant-leadership and behavioral shifts.
Throughout the course, students are challenged to think in terms of the Scrum principles to better understand what to do when returning to the workplace.
The PSM course is much more than just a set of slides and an instructor. In this course, students work on real-life cases with other classmates together as a team. This course is made up of discussions and hands-on exercises based upon real-life cases.
On successful completion of the Professional Scrum MasterTM course, candidates will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment, and can subsequently go on to undertake level II and III. The assessments are conducted by Scrum.org and the certification is maintained by them.
The PSM I, II and III level certifications are achieved on obtaining a minimum passing score in a rigorous assessment, which is held online.
PSM I holders understand the basics thoroughly, and are able to use globally accepted terminology and approaches to Scrum.PSM II holders have a deep understanding of the principles and processes that underpin the Scrum framework and can effectively apply Scrum in the organizational context. PSM III certification holders demonstrate a distinguished level of mastery over Scrum.
Immediately post the (Scrum.org) training, students will receive an email providing their password to attempt the certification assessment. If the student takes the assessment within 14 days and does not score at least 85%, they are entitled to a 2nd attempt at no cost. The 2nd e-mail with a new password will automatically be sent to the student.
This feature has been enabled to allow the candidate to inspect their level of knowledge and to reinforce the concepts dealt with in the Scrum.org training; viz. the importance of inspection, adaptation, and fast feedback cycles.
